Sergei Taneyev

Sergei Taneyev, a towering figure in Russian music, was a multifaceted genius as a composer, pianist, and educator. He began his illustrious career at the age of 22, joining the faculty of the Moscow Conservatory, where he taught composition, counterpoint, piano, and musical form.
