Christian Gerhaher

Christian Gerhaher is a distinguished German baritone and bass singer, renowned for his exceptional interpretations of opera and concert repertoire, with a particular prowess in the art of Lieder. Over the course of his three-decade career, Gerhaher has captivated audiences worldwide with his eloquent and compelling performances, earning him numerous prestigious accolades, including the Royal Philharmonic Society Awards' Singer Prize in 2015. His collaborations, notably with pianist Gerold Huber, have solidified his status as one of the most admired and complete interpreters of German Lieder of our time.
