Konstantin Scherbakov, the Russian-Swiss pianist, is a virtuoso whose profound artistry and technical brilliance have captivated audiences worldwide. Born in Barnaul, Siberia, in 1963, Scherbakov was a child prodigy, debuting with an orchestra at a young age. His international career took off in 1990 with solo recitals at the Chamber Music Festival of Asolo. A champion of Rachmaninoff, he has performed all of the composer's piano works and won the first Rachmaninoff piano competition in 1983.
