Bachir Attar is a Moroccan musician and the leader of The Master Musicians of Jajouka, a renowned group preserving one of the oldest musical traditions on the planet. Born in 1964, Attar is the son of Hadj Abdesalam Attar, who led the group during their iconic 1968 album "Brian Jones Presents The Pipes of Pan at Jajouka." Growing up in the small village of Jajouka in the Rif Mountains, Attar has dedicated his life to maintaining the rich cultural heritage and mystical musical traditions of his ancestors.
