Yuuko Shiokawa, born June 1, 1946, in Tokyo, Japan, is a renowned violinist who began her musical journey at the tender age of five. As one of the first generation of world-class instrumentalists to emerge from Japan post-World War II, Shiokawa has captivated audiences with her virtuosic performances. Her musical path took her from Tokyo to Lima, Peru, where she studied under the guidance of Eugen Cremer.
