Yale Schola Cantorum is a prestigious chamber choir based in New Haven, Connecticut, renowned for its captivating performances of sacred music spanning from the sixteenth century to the present day. Founded in 2003, this 24-voice ensemble is composed of talented students from across Yale University, selected through a rigorous audition process. Under the direction of interim conductor Stefan Parkman and principal guest conductor Masaaki Suzuki, the choir specializes in historically informed performances, with a particular focus on repertoire from before 1750 and the last hundred years. Yale Schola Cantorum performs in concert settings and choral services around the world, showcasing their exceptional vocal prowess and deep musical understanding.
