Vox Luminis

Vox Luminis, founded in 2004 in Namur, Belgium, is a renowned early music vocal ensemble celebrated for its unique and captivating sound. Led by the talented bass Lionel Meunier, the ensemble specializes in the performance of 16th to 18th-century vocal music, with a particular focus on English, Italian, and German repertoire. Vox Luminis has garnered international acclaim for its recordings, winning numerous prestigious awards, including a Gramophone Award and International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) in 2012 for their recording of Heinrich Schütz's Musicalische Exequien. Their discography, released on labels such as Alpha Classics, Ricercar, Ramée, and Musique en Wallonie, has received widespread critical praise.
