Vladimir Jurowski

Vladimir Mikhailovich Jurowski is a renowned Russian conductor, currently residing in Germany, who has made significant waves in the classical music world. As the General Music Director of Munich's Bayerische Staatsoper and Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester, Jurowski brings a fresh and innovative approach to his performances, as evident in his splendid interpretations of Mahler's works. Born into a musical dynasty, with his father and grandfather also being conductors, Jurowski began his serious music studies in his teens at the Moscow Conservatory.
