Vin Scialla
Vin Scialla is a dynamic and innovative artist, known for his unique fusion of Middle Eastern, Italian, North Indian, and American musical traditions. As a drummer, bandleader, composer, and educator, Vin has traveled the globe, sharing his music and passion with audiences worldwide. Born and raised in New York City, he has made the city his creative hub, collaborating with a diverse range of artists and collectives, including BRM, Rae Radick, Dheepa Chari, and the Scialla & Schugren Project. Vin's work spans across various genres and mediums, from performing and teaching to acting and composing soundtracks. He holds degrees from the Hartt School of Music and the Conservatory at Brooklyn, and currently serves as an instructor and Head of the Music Department at Teachers College, Columbia University. His discography includes the album "Wake Up!" (2014) and the single "When It All Goes Down" (2022), showcasing his versatility and artistry. Vin's performances are not just concerts; they are immersive experiences that transcend cultural boundaries and leave a lasting impact on all who attend.
