Vienna Boys' Choir

The Vienna Boys' Choir, also known as the Wiener Sängerknaben, is a world-renowned boys' choir with a history that dates back to 1498, making it one of the oldest musical organizations in existence. Founded by the Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I, this esteemed choir is celebrated for its unique timbre and purity of tone, achieved through rigorous training and strict standards. Comprising boys aged between 9 and 14, the choir is divided into four touring groups, each maintaining the same high level of performance.
