Umberto Fiori

Umberto Fiori is an Italian poet, singer-songwriter, and musician, born in Sarzana in 1949 and currently based in Milan. With a background in philosophy, Fiori brings a unique intellectual depth to his work. He is best known as the frontman of the influential rock group Stormy Six, with whom he recorded several albums and toured extensively across Europe. Beyond his musical career, Fiori is celebrated for his poetic contributions, often exploring political and social themes. His 1973 song "Palestina," a pro-Palestinian anthem, became a staple of student movements during Italy's tumultuous "Years of Lead."
