Sonig Tchakerian

Sonig Tchakerian is an accomplished Italian violinist of Armenian descent, born on July 2, 1960, in Aleppo, Syria. Renowned for her exquisite performances, she has recorded the complete works of Ravel's piano and violin compositions, as well as Haydn's violin concertos. Her repertoire spans a wide range of classical masterpieces, including popular works like Paganini's 24 Capricci and Violin Concerto in F Minor. As a dedicated educator, Sonig also serves as a professor at the prestigious Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia in Rome. Her music is a testament to her deep artistic sensitivity and technical brilliance, making her a standout figure in the world of classical music.
