Sol Schoenbach

Sol Schoenbach, an esteemed American bassoonist and teacher, left an indelible mark on the music world through his exceptional talent and dedication. Born in 1915, Schoenbach began his musical journey under the tutelage of the renowned bassoonist Simon Kovar. He quickly rose to prominence, becoming the principal bassoonist of the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1937, a position he held for two decades.
