Simon Phipps

Simon Phipps is a multifaceted artist whose work spans various mediums and disciplines. Born in Leeds, he is a graduate of the prestigious Royal College of Art, where he honed his skills in sculpture. Today, Phipps is renowned for his striking photography, particularly his exploration of Brutalist architecture, as seen in his compelling books like "Brutal Outer London" and "Concrete Poetry." Beyond his visual arts, Phipps is also a self-taught game programmer and video game designer, with a career that began in the early 1980s. His creative pursuits don't stop there; he is also an avid 3D printer, a dedicated Star Wars charity costumer, and a droid builder. When he's not creating, Phipps enjoys foraging and developing recipes, even aspiring to publish a recipe book. Currently based in West Yorkshire, Phipps brings a unique blend of technical expertise and artistic vision to everything he does.
