Ryan Nielsen is a seasoned American football coach and former defensive tackle, currently serving as the senior defensive assistant for the Buffalo Bills in the NFL. Born on March 20, 1979, in Los Angeles, California, Nielsen's journey in football began at the University of Southern California, where he was an All-Pac 10 Conference selection as a sophomore. His college career highlights include recording a career-best 39 tackles in 1999. After graduating, Nielsen signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2002, marking the start of his professional football career.
