Rolf Martinsson is a distinguished Swedish composer renowned for his exceptional orchestration skills and imaginative blending of instrumental colours. Born and based in Sweden, Martinsson honed his craft at the Malmö Academy of Music, studying under esteemed composers such as Brian Ferneyhough and Sven-David Sandström. His international breakthrough came with the trumpet concerto 'Bridge', composed for the renowned Håkan Hardenberger. Martinsson's works, such as 'AS in memoriam' and 'Garden of Delights', reflect his deep musical insight and creative prowess, making him one of Sweden's leading composers.
