Rodrigo Brandão is a multifaceted artist whose work spans filmmaking, video art, and illustration, all centered around themes of climate, environmental, and social justice. Born in Santos Dumont, Brazil, Brandão's art is deeply rooted in the lyrical depth and spiritual connections between urban imagery and African ancestry, infused with a punk sensibility. With over a decade of experience, he has created compelling visual narratives for global brands and is currently a student at Hunter College's Integrated Media Arts MFA program. His work has been recognized with a nomination at the 6th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards for Best Brazilian Rock Album. Brandão's diverse portfolio includes projects like "Echoes," "Summer of Heat," and "The World's Borough Bookshop," showcasing his versatility and commitment to impactful storytelling.
