Reza Vali

Reza Vali is an acclaimed Iranian-American composer renowned for his distinctive cross-cultural style that seamlessly blends Persian musical heritage with contemporary Western classical traditions. Born in Qazvin, Iran, in 1952, Vali's musical journey began at the Tehran Conservatory before he ventured to Vienna to study at the Academy of Music. His academic pursuits culminated in a Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, where he delved into composition and music theory.
