Rattan Mohan Sharma

Rattan Mohan Sharma is a distinguished Indian classical vocalist, hailing from the prestigious Mewati gharana. Born on June 14, 1971, Sharma is the nephew and disciple of the legendary Sangeet Martand Padma Vibhushan Pandit Jasraj, carrying forward the rich legacy of his mentor. As a sixth-generation artist of the Mewati gharana, Sharma's performances of khyal and tarana are deeply rooted in tradition yet resonate with contemporary audiences. His repertoire extends to bhajans and devotional music, showcasing his versatility and spiritual depth. Sharma is not only a performer but also an educator, serving as the founder of the Pandit Jasraj School of Music Foundation in Mumbai and a faculty member at the school's Tampa, Florida, campus.
