Radha Pandey

Radha Pandey is a versatile artist who blends the traditional crafts of papermaking and letterpress printing with contemporary book arts. With an MFA in Book Arts from the University of Iowa Center for the Book, Radha creates intricate and thought-provoking works that include unique books, sculptures, and animations. Her art is deeply inspired by nature, natural history, and ecology, often made with a deliberate and slow process that reflects the beauty and complexity of the natural world. Radha's work, such as her artist's book "Taxonomy of Shapes," showcases her ability to organize and present everyday objects in a new and engaging light. She is also an educator, teaching papermaking and book arts classes in India, Europe, and the US, sharing her passion and expertise with others. Currently, Radha is working on a project titled "Flora of Mughal India," further exploring her interest in the intersection of art, nature, and history.
