Pandit Debashish Bhattacharya is a virtuoso of Indian classical music, renowned worldwide as one of the greatest slide guitarists of our time. Born into a musically rich family in 1963, he began his musical journey before he even learned the alphabet, mastering Indian classical instruments with prodigious talent. Debashish introduced the first Slide Guitar Syllabus, blending traditional Indian ragas with the soulful resonance of the slide guitar. His performances are a mesmerizing fusion of Hindustani classical music and innovative guitar techniques, often accompanied by esteemed percussionists like Pt. Akilesh Gundechha and Pt.
