Nigel Osborne

Nigel Osborne MBE is a celebrated British composer, teacher, and aid worker, born on 23 June 1948. With a career spanning decades, Osborne has made a significant impact on the world of classical music, winning prestigious awards such as the Opera Prize of Radio Suisse Romande and Ville de Geneve, the Netherlands Gaudeamus Prize, and the Radcliffe Award. His compositions, including notable works like "I Am Goya" and "Jerusalem to Derry (Prelude)," have been performed by renowned orchestras and opera houses worldwide. Beyond his musical achievements, Osborne is also known for his extensive charity work, particularly his efforts to support war-traumatised children.
