Mayuko Katsumura

Mayuko Katsumura is a Tokyo-born violinist with a rich musical journey that has taken her across the globe. Studying under Yasuro Sumi at the prestigious Music High School of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, she later honed her craft in London. Her career has seen her shine as a concerto soloist with numerous orchestras, captivating audiences in Japan, Europe, and the United States. Katsumura's debut album showcases her mastery of German traditional violin works, accompanied by legendary pianist Enrico Marconi. Her repertoire also includes notable performances of Shostakovich, where she has made a significant mark in a competitive field. With a decade of successful competition appearances and concert performances, particularly in Romania, Katsumura continues to impress and inspire.
