Márta Gulyás

Márta Gulyás is a renowned pianist and chamber music educator, born in 1953. She began her piano studies at the age of five in Hungary and continued her education at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest under the guidance of István Lantos. Gulyás has made significant contributions to the music world, earning the prestigious Liszt Prize in 2002. Currently, she serves as the head of the chamber music department at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and has been a professor at the Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music since 1992. Her expertise and dedication have inspired numerous students, many of whom perform in notable concerts. Gulyás's discography includes celebrated works such as Mozart's complete piano trios and sonatas for piano and violin, showcasing her mastery of chamber music.
