Magnar Åm is a Norwegian composer, born in Trondheim in 1952, who has made a significant mark in the classical music scene. Educated at the Music Conservatory of Bergen (now The Grieg Academy), Åm studied church music and composition under the guidance of renowned composer Ketil Hvoslef. His extensive body of work includes pieces ranging from duos to octets, showcasing his versatility and depth as a composer.
