Her musical journey began under the tutelage of Alphonse Hasselmans at the Conservatoire de Paris, where she later became a professor herself from 1948 to 1958. Laskine's collaborations with renowned flautists like Marcel Moyse and Jean-Pierre Rampal showcased her exceptional talent and versatility. She served as a harpist in the orchestra of the Paris Opera for over 30 years and was a member of the National Orchestra of French Radio. Her extensive discography includes a 14-CD set that highlights her remarkable recording career.
