Karel Šejna

Karel Šejna (1896-1982) was a distinguished Czech conductor and double bassist, renowned for his significant contributions to the world of classical music. Beginning his career as a double bassist, Šejna transitioned to conducting, eventually becoming the principal conductor of the esteemed Czech Philharmonic. His recordings, though few, are highly regarded by serious collectors and enthusiasts.
