Josep Caballé-Domenech is a distinguished Spanish conductor renowned for his dynamic leadership and versatility across symphonic and operatic repertoires. Currently, he serves as the Principal Conductor of the Moritzburg Festival in Germany and is in his eighth season as Music Director of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic in the USA. His illustrious career includes a tenure as General Music Director of the Staatskapelle Halle in Germany from 2013 to 2018, and as Music Director of the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra in Colombia. Caballé-Domenech was mentored by the esteemed Sir Colin Davis through the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative, further honing his craft under the guidance of David Zinman.
