Born into a noble family of Belgian origin in Opole on July 23, 1803, Vesque von Püttlingen studied law in Vienna and rose to become a respected councillor. However, his passion for music led him to compose operas and songs under the pseudonym 'J. van Hoven.' His compositions, such as "Die Heimkehr" and "Unerhört! Romantische Lieder," showcase his romantic and lyrical style, making him a notable figure in the classical music scene.
