Johann Christoph Pepusch

Johann Christoph Pepusch, also known as John Christopher Pepusch, was a prolific German-born composer who made England his musical home. Born in Berlin in 1667, Pepusch began his musical journey as a child prodigy, eventually finding his way to the Prussian court before settling in London in 1697. Throughout his career, he was a prominent figure in the English musical scene, contemporary to the great George Frideric Handel.
