Jitka Hosprová

Jitka Hosprová is a renowned Czech violist, born on October 8, 1975, in Plzeň. Beginning her musical journey on the violin at the age of seven, she transitioned to the viola at fourteen, showcasing her virtuosity on the instrument. With a rich career spanning decades, Hosprová has established herself as a prominent figure in the world of chamber music.

Beyond her performances, Hosprová is also an educator, serving as an expert assistant at the Pedagogical Faculty of the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň. Her international travels have included leading masterclasses, further cementing her reputation as a respected mentor in the field.
