Jennifer Koh

Jennifer Koh is a Grammy Award-winning violinist known for her forward-thinking approach to classical music. Born in 1976 to Korean parents in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Koh has dedicated her career to exploring a broad and eclectic repertoire, pushing the boundaries of traditional classical performance. As the Artistic Director of the Fortas Chamber Music Concerts at the Kennedy Center and a professor at the Mannes School of Music, she is also committed to promoting equity and inclusivity in the classical music world. Koh's performances, such as her renditions of Bach's Sonatas and her Tiny Desk Concert with Missy Mazzoli, showcase her exceptional talent and innovative spirit, making her a standout artist in the classical genre.
