Born on March 29, 1959, his passion for jazz ignited at the age of 17, shaping his career as a composer, arranger, producer, and even photographer. Educated at the prestigious Kungliga musikhögskolan, Levander's musical journey has been marked by his work with notable ensembles and his role as a kapellmästare (conductor) for various groups, including the Jan Levander Septet. Beyond his musical prowess, he has also contributed to the SKF Group as a Product Portfolio Manager and served as the Director of Education in Jakobstad.
