Jan Levander is a versatile Swedish jazz musician, renowned for his mastery of saxophones, flute, and bassoon. Born on March 29, 1959, his passion for jazz ignited at the age of 17, shaping his career as a composer, arranger, producer, and even photographer. Educated at the prestigious Kungliga musikhögskolan, Levander's musical journey has been marked by his work with notable ensembles and his role as a kapellmästare (conductor) for various groups, including the Jan Levander Septet. Beyond his musical prowess, he has also contributed to the SKF Group as a Product Portfolio Manager and served as the Director of Education in Jakobstad.
