Jan Järvlepp

Jan Järvlepp is a Canadian composer, cellist, and music educator of Estonian origin, known for his unique European/American musical fusion. Born in Ottawa in 1953, Järvlepp began his musical journey on the pop guitar at age 12 before taking up the cello. With a career spanning over five decades as a cellist and 38 years as a member of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, Järvlepp brings a wealth of experience to his compositions.
