Hilda Paredes

Hilda Paredes, born in Tehuacan, Puebla, Mexico in 1957, is a celebrated contemporary composer who has made a significant impact on the classical music scene. With a career spanning over four decades, Paredes has earned numerous prestigious awards and is widely recognized as one of Mexico's leading composers of her generation. Her musical journey began with studies in piano and flute, followed by composition at the Conservatoire in Mexico and later at esteemed institutions in the UK, including the University of London, The University of Manchester, and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Paredes' work is praised for its perfection and innovation, captivating musicians, singers, and conductors alike.
