Francesco Bigoni is an Italian jazz saxophonist and composer, born in 1982 in Ferrara, Italy, who has been captivating audiences with his multifaceted approach to music. With a background in electrical engineering, Francesco brings a unique perspective to his craft, blending technical precision with raw, emotive expression. His work spans across free jazz and avant-garde genres, showcasing his versatility and innovative spirit. Having been active on the Italian music scene since his early twenties, Francesco relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark in 2009, where he continues to push boundaries and explore new sonic territories. His recent projects include directing the Siena Jazz festival and premiering "BABEL" with a multilingual choir. With over a decade of experience as a musician and arranger, Francesco's passion and enthusiasm are infectious, making his performances and recordings a must-experience for any music enthusiast.
