Fabio Biondi

Fabio Biondi, born in Palermo in 1961, is a distinguished Italian violinist and conductor celebrated for his mastery of Baroque and early music. His career took a significant leap when he founded the acclaimed Baroque ensemble Europa Galante in 1990, with which he has performed at the world's most prestigious venues. Biondi's interpretations of the Italian Baroque repertoire are particularly renowned, with his recording of Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" being a standout achievement. Beyond his musical prowess, Biondi is also the Artistic Director of the Farnese Festival, an International Festival of Ancient Music, which he launched in Teatro Farnese in 2023.
