Eric Montalbetti

Eric Montalbetti is a contemporary French composer, born in 1968, who has made Paris his home and creative hub. With a background in piano and organ, Montalbetti's musical journey began in childhood, later enriched by studies under the influential Pierre Boulez at Ircam and Collège de France. For nearly two decades, he served as the Artistic Director of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, a role that undoubtedly shaped his distinctive compositional voice. His music, published by Durand, has found its way onto three CD albums under the Alpha Classics label, and his works have been brought to life by renowned performers such as Christian Tetzlaff, David Grimal, and Emmanuel Pahud.
