Emmanuel Nunes

Emmanuel Nunes, a Portuguese composer born in Lisbon on August 31, 1941, and who passed away in Paris on September 2, 2012, was a pioneering figure in post-serialist music. Despite severe motion difficulties due to a neurological handicap, Nunes studied at the Lisbon Academy of Music and later moved to Paris in 1964, where he continued his musical journey.
