Dave Stryker is a seasoned American jazz guitarist, born on March 30, 1957, who has been captivating audiences with his blues- and soul-influenced sound for decades. With over thirty-five albums under his belt as a leader, Stryker has also lent his talents as a featured sideman to notable artists like Stanley Turrentine, Jack McDuff, and Kevin Mahogany. His latest project, "Prime," marks his first recording with his working trio, following a successful stint opening for Steely Dan. Stryker's impressive discography, released under his label Strikezone Records, has seen numerous Top 10 hits and six #1 albums on JazzWeek. Beyond his musical achievements, Stryker is also an Adjunct Professor of Jazz Guitar at prestigious institutions like the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University.
