The Brussels Jazz Orchestra, founded in 1993 by saxophonist and composer Frank Vaganée, Serge Plume, Marc Godfroid, and Bo van der Werf, is a Belgian jazz orchestra renowned for its big band lineup and innovative approach to jazz. Unlike traditional jazz ensembles, the Brussels Jazz Orchestra doesn't adhere to standards, instead forging its own path with an orchestrated passion for jazz that has earned them a global reputation stretching from Singapore to New York City. With over 22 CDs to their name, the orchestra has been recognized with numerous awards, showcasing their energetic and deeply rooted jazz tradition.
