Bernt Rosengren

Bernt Rosengren, the celebrated Swedish jazz saxophonist and composer, left an indelible mark on the Nordic jazz scene with his powerful, hard-blowing tenor saxophone style. Born on Christmas Eve in 1937, Rosengren's career spanned over five decades, earning him five prestigious Gyllene Skivan awards in Sweden. Influenced by the legendary Sonny Rollins, Rosengren was known for his big tone and exceptional improvisational skills.
