Adam Makowicz

Adam Makowicz, born Adam Matyszkowicz in 1940, is a renowned Polish-Canadian pianist and composer who has made a significant impact on both the jazz and classical music scenes. Born in Gnojník, Poland, Makowicz began his jazz journey in the late 1950s, co-founding one of Europe's first free jazz groups, the Jazz Darings, with Tomasz Stanko.
