Album Description
Dive into the captivating world of Aurora's fifth studio album, "What Happened To The Heart?", a poignant and introspective musical journey that explores the loss of spiritual connection in modern society and the healing power of vulnerability. Released on June 7, 2024, via Decca (UMO), this 16-track collection spans a full hour, offering a rich tapestry of Norwegian and art pop sounds that showcase Aurora's maturity as an artist.
The album kicks off with "Echo Of My Shadow" and takes listeners through a cohesive journey of self-discovery and reflection. Standout tracks like "Starvation" and "The Blade" highlight Aurora's ability to blend alt-pop, ballad, and indie pop elements, creating a unique and engaging listening experience. "What Happened To The Heart?" serves as an ode to the death of Aurora's former self, marking a significant evolution in her artistic expression.
To celebrate the release, Aurora will embark on a European and American headlining concert tour in 2024 and 2025, bringing the album's themes and sounds to life on stage.
