Wayne Horvitz is a versatile American composer, keyboardist, and record producer who has left an indelible mark on the music scene. Born in New York City in 1955, Horvitz gained prominence in the vibrant Downtown scene of the 1980s and '90s, where he collaborated with notable artists like John Zorn's Naked City. His musical journey has been as eclectic as it is impressive, spanning genres from avant-garde to free jazz.

Horvitz's work is celebrated for its multifaceted nature, blending elements of avant classical, folksy charm, and experimental sounds.
