Bamert's career took flight with his tenure as resident conductor at the Cleveland Orchestra under the esteemed Lorin Maazel. Since 1992, he has been the esteemed Director of the prestigious Lucerne Festival, and has also served as Music Director of the London Mozart Players, Britain's longest-established chamber orchestra.
