Shigenori Kudo, a renowned flutist hailing from Sapporo, Japan, has captivated audiences worldwide with his virtuosity and artistry. Born in 1954, Kudo began his musical journey at the tender age of 10, studying under the esteemed chief flutist of the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, Nobuhiro Sasaki. His passion for the flute led him to Tokyo's Toho Gakuen School of Music, and later, to the prestigious Paris Conservatoire, where he graduated with top honors.

Kudo's meteoric rise in the classical music scene is marked by numerous accolades, including first prize at the 2nd Paris International Flute Competition and the 1st JP Ranpaul International Flute Competition, where he also received the French President's Award. His performances have graced stages in Paris, London, Vienna, and Milan, among others, earning him a reputation as one of Japan's most distinguished flutists.

Currently, Kudo serves as a special invited professor at Tokyo Music University and a guest professor at Showa University of Music. He continues to enthrall audiences with his solo performances and collaborations, including his own production, the Tokyo Chamber Players.
