Weiss's compositions are a unique blend of minimalism, jazz, and rock, reflecting his extensive travels and diverse influences from Africa, Asia, and Europe. He is known for his innovative use of percussion and voice, as showcased in his notable album "Trommelgeflüster." Weiss has received numerous accolades, including the Niedersächsischer Kulturpreis and the Praetorius Musikpreis, highlighting his significant contributions to the music world.
