Fishmans, a pioneering Japanese band formed in the vibrant streets of Minato, Tokyo, in 1987, are celebrated for their unique blend of psychedelic, reggae, and dub influences, creating a dreamy and eclectic sound that transcends genres. Founded by the charismatic Shinji Sato, alongside drummer Kin-Ichi Motegi and guitarist Kensuke Ojima, the band quickly gained a devoted following with their distinctive style.
