Johann Christian Bach, born in Leipzig in 1735, was a prolific German composer of the Classical era, renowned as the youngest son of the legendary Johann Sebastian Bach. Known affectionately as the "English Bach," Johann Christian made a significant mark on the musical landscape of his time, particularly in England, where he was affectionately called John Bach.
